This Fairground ride is the work of John Molden. The ride 'The Terminator', like its life size big brother, is carried on its own trailer and builds up as the original. In red and green it is basically a two rows of twenty seats set between two very substantial arms fitted with well built universal joints where the seat is connected and a heavy hinge at the other end to compensate the universal joint movement. The model is quite large and controlled by hand. I am not attempting to describe its action but it follows the original. The Hauling Tractor is a real work of art. Another of those 'must be seen to be believed'. So far, over three years has been spent on the model which has its own lighting. |
