Annual General Meeting 2002 At the AGM held during the October 5th meeting David Bradley was elected Secretary. George Illingworth and Paul Brecknell were reelected as Chairman and Treasurer. We enjoyed another excellent meeting with good models in good company. This was the last meeting to be held in the Arthur Rank Centre, which is due to be demolished. Next March we will be at Baginton Village Hall |

Les Gines With great sadness we have to report that Les Gines died at the end of September. He had been an enthusiastic member of the Midlands Meccano Guild for very many years. He will be particularly remembered for his interest in models which appealed to youngsters. His models had buttons to push and handles to turn. Les and Alice loved attending exhibitions and bringing delight to the faces of the visitors. |
