Georg Illingworth displayed his immaculate model, on a plinth, of a World War Two Scammel Recovery Vehicle, built in pristine yellow and silver. Just about everything on the original has been included on the model. Also on display, a collection of mini army vehicles and tanks, including a Tank Transporter and Tank, a Bren Carrier, a workshop vehicle, all in army green. |

To engines in yellow, blue and silver: The first being a vintage Horizontal Engine, single piston, single flywheel, beautifully built and run non stop each day. The second, a Beyer-Garratt Loco, 2-6-0 + 0-6-2, to one tenth scale. This model, being raised from the track, was operated by push button and coins in the St. John box. Both models built to a very high standard. |
